In Somalia, where over half the population lives in poverty and malnutrition claims countless children each year, access to health is often a matter of life or death.
That’s why in 2024, Juba Foundation—with support from ECHO, CDC, GFFO, and FCDO—brought critical health and nutrition services to underserved districts like Afgoye, Barawe, Afmadow, and Kismayo. We provided:
- Outpatient & inpatient care, including emergency support
- Skilled maternity services, including safe deliveries and cesareans
- Therapeutic nutrition for malnourished children
- Expanded vaccination campaigns
- GBV trauma care and referrals
- Mobile outreach teams reaching remote populations
In a country where facilities are few and far between, Juba Foundation became the bridge between need and care. We didn’t just treat patients—we restored dignity, saved lives, and brought hope to mothers who had nearly given up.
This is the essence of what we do: meeting people where they are, with what they need most.
